COURSE DESCRIPTION: The journal is an effective tool for looking at our personal growth process, as well as helping patients/clients in their healing process. This course will cover basic journaling techniques, predominantly from the Journal To The Self curriculum. Journaling helps develop memory, imagination, feeling, intuition, and many other creative aspects of ourselves. Using the journal in your health practices can accelerate the healing process for patients/clients. They gain increased self-awareness, and reflection, feedback, and direction on their healing journey. Whether you’re facilitating others in the healing process, or taking charge of your own healing, you’ll find these methodologies enjoyable and very effective for problem solving and as a way to “write” yourself to inner peace.
HHP258631 JOURNALING THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This class takes the writing process to a new level for the purpose of exploring more deeply the authentic self, recording insights of the spiritual journey, developing intuition, and connecting with inner wisdom. Using art, collage, and guided meditation, blended with writing, we will discover how this creative process facilitates deeper self awareness and personal growth. Development of intuition and spiritual understanding are essential qualities for the Holistic Health Practitioner to nurture in self to be more effective with patients.

HP-229 WELLNESS COUNSELINGCOURSE DESCRIPTION: Higher level wellness is more than the absence of symptoms. It includes vitality, a joy of living and a feeling of self-worth. This course presents tools to facilitate yourself and others in the movement toward higher level wellness. Participants will learn assessment tools, basic counseling tools, how to establish contracts and goals for changes, and methods for evaluation and ongoing growth.
