Journaling and Course Descriptions
I am a Certified Instructor of Journal to the Self
®, a program taught by Kathleen Adams, founder of the Center for Journal Therapy. I have been teaching journaling workshops throughout Colorado since 2001.
I believe journaling is a powerful tool for healing. It allows us to access information from our subconscious and superconscious selves, connecting us to that place within where all the answers to all of our questions lie. Journaling can be playful and deep, simple and profound. Everyone has a writer within. In journaling, grammar doesn’t matter- it’s all about just getting your thoughts and feelings out in the most raw, unfiltered way that you can. People are often amazed at the beautiful things that come through in their writing. When we access our most authentic selves, writing purely from the heart, we recognize a profound beauty within. Many “ah-ha” moments happen for people in journaling classes. While sharing naturally happens within a group, I always make sure people know they have a right to privacy. You can come and journal quietly or you can come and share with the group....or a little of both. Each person is honored for exactly where they are. Sometimes, when we have just a little bit of structure for our writing, it helps us to get started. Once we start writing, whatever is in there for healing will begin to pour out. My classes are all about giving you fun, new, and often playful ways to get you “into the waters of writing.” Once you are there, the writing takes on a life of its own.
Soul Journaling I™
Come experience journal writing in a fresh new way! This class will awaken your creative muse, teach you how to “write” yourself to inner peace, develop your intuition, and reconnect you with your Higher Self. Give yourself the gift of time to meditate, write, laugh, sometimes cry, and always enjoy three sessions of connecting with others!

Soul Journaling II™
This class takes the writing process to a new level for the
purpose of exploring more deeply
the authentic self, recording insights of the spiritual journey,
developing intuition, and connecting with inner wisdom. Using simple
art, collage, and guided meditation, blended with writing, we will
discover how this creative process facilitates deeper self awareness and
personal growth.
SJI™ is recommended, but not required as a prerequisite.

RSVP Soul Journaling™
Come experience a fresh, soulful, playful way of journaling and experience the power of journaling within the energy of a group. I will facilitate guided meditation and many unique creative journaling techniques. No journaling experience necessary--all are welcome! Please RSVP to make sure there is space available.

Come share the gift of this soulful, playful, creative way of journaling with your mother or daughter(s). Daughters of all ages who can write or draw are welcome!

Add a Little Energy Medicine to Your First Aid Kit
Come learn the basics of energy healing and take home some Healing Touch techniques to treat yourself and your family for some of the most common ailments: headaches, cuts, bruises, sore muscles, insomnia, etc. Learn how to enhance your body's natural ability to heal with the simple but profound methods of Healing Touch. Level 1 Healing Touch
D
evelop concepts and skills in energy-based therapy and learn a variety of Healing Touch techniques to use with friends, family and pets, and/or professionally. This first class toward certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner is a profound weekend of learning and healing.
Saturday & Sunday, January 24-25, 2009, 9:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Cost: $333/person + $30 materials fee ($225/person full-time student or repeater)
Level 2 Healing Touch
This class increases the breadth and depth of study of Healing Touch, allowing the participant to gain specific skills necessary for more advanced practice. Emphasis is on deepening skills, developing healing sequences for specific needs, learning back and neck techniques, and gaining skills in therapeutic interactions.
